Meet the Staff

Dentist Dawson Staff

Terri Nichols

Hygiene & Treatment Coordinator

Terri has been with our office since 1998 and was our patient before that time. Efficiency is Terri’s middle name. She wears several hats that include working out needed treatment for our patients and helping with their insurance coverage. In fact, she is one of the go-to staff that can answer most any of your insurance questions and if she doesn’t know the answer, rest assured, she will get it!

Another small town girl, Terri is originally from Waycross, Georgia and now lives in Shellman. Terri is a true pet lover and Buffy and Duke keep her pretty busy. She attends First Baptist Church in Shellman and likes to read, cook and cross-stitch.

Sandra Holloway

Dental Assistant

Sandra came to our office in 2009 after retiring from Proctor and Gamble. She was an eager and quick learner and was trained in our clinic. Her assisting skills are second to none and her compassion for others is exceptional. Our patients are in good hands when Sandra is around.

Sandra has four children and eleven grandchildren. She attends Liberty Parkway Church of God and when she is not at the office helping out patients, she spends her time reading and enjoying her grandchildren.

Beth Smith, Certified

Dental Assistant

Beth first came to our office in 2009 as a patient and decided to make a career of dental assisting. She graduated from Albany Technical College in 2011 as a Certified Dental Assistant where her instructors recognized her as a Hinman Scholar. You will find Beth all over the clinical area in our office. She is truly an all around team player!

Outside the office Beth enjoys fishing and time with her family. She has two children, attends Central Baptist Church, and volunteers her time on the Mallory Association Mobile Dental Unit.

Glenda Blackburn

Dental Assistant

Glenda first came to this practice in 2013 as a patient and loved the caring friendly atmosphere provided by all office personnel. Glenda started her career as a dental assistant in 1986 in South Florida and continued this career path for 15 years. She then moved from South Florida in 2007 and took a new career in law enforcement for 15 years. Glenda decided it was time to go back to the dental field where she was given the opportunity to continue down this path in our family oriented practice.

Glenda has two children, nine grandchildren, and three dogs. She loves spending time with her family and friends and also enjoys deer hunting, hog hunting, gardening, cooking, and canning.

Sheila ONeal

A resident of Albany since 1973, coming from Panama City, FL and raising a son here, I am now enjoying my first grandchild Samuel and taking care of my babies with fur! Being in the dental field is so gratifying everyday because you see how it changes peoples lives.  A smile changes everything!

We welcomed Sheila to our practice in January 2017.
